Britney's song "Hold It Against Me" is expected to top Kanye and Jay's latest single "H.A.M." which could land at #2 position on the Billboard Single's chart, while Avril Lavigne's track "What The Hell" is closing in on the position as well.
Britney is also holding off both competitors at the top of the iTunes charts as well.
In an ill attempt to poke fun at his fiasco with Taylor Swift during the 2009 MTV VMA's, West humorously tweeted: "Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z's single is one of the best songs of all time!"
Apparently, Britney's manager Adam Leber didn't find the humor in West's tweets as he shot back: "Thanks for 'letting us be #1...much appreciated...LOL"
Kanye later replaced the tweet with a message congratulating Britney Spears and Avril Lavigne.
"On a serious note I'm truly happy for Avril Lavigne and Britney Spears. No hate in 2011...I thought LOL signified a joke....I didn't get the 2011 LOL doesn't signify a joke anymore memo," Kanye sarcastically tweeted.
